| Elan and Rahiem, our current peer leaders |
Young Men's Health has several high school students who advise us in all that we do!
Here are the different ways our peer leaders contribute:
YMH Peer Educator: Rahiem is a high school student who is specially trained in peer-to-peer health education. He assists with organizing monthly outreach activities, editing health information guides to make them guy-friendly, and evaluating resources for our web site. He also participates in mock clinical interviews for training resident physicians and helps with informational tables at the adolescent outpatient clinic.
Rahiem also serves as a representative to the Youth Advisory Program at Children’s Hospital Boston, where he participates in a variety of activities to increase awareness of health issues that young men face.
YMH Volunteers: Elan, a high-school senior, along with several other teen guys and young men, assist with developing and editing health resources for our website and printed materials available in our outpatient clinic.
Thank you to our YMH peer educator and volunteers for all your valuable work! You rock!
